Status

Effective January 1, 2026, the Environment of Care chapter was consolidated into the Physical Environment chapter for hospitals. This reference reads EC.02.02.01 EP 5 as having moved into PE.02.01.01 — where inventory, safety data sheets, and labeling now sit at EP 1, EP 2, and EP 3 — with the 2026 consolidation; the 2026 chapter’s EC matrix, which now applies only to non-hospital programs, omits EP 5, which is consistent with that reading but does not state it, and the mapping has not been verified against the licensed 2026 chapter.
